Engineering Career

Before qualifying as a counsellor I had a 35 year career as a Chartered Engineer in various responsible engineering and marketing positions in international telecommunications companies.

In the course of my career I had the opportunity to experience the stresses and strains felt by workers in industry from cleaners through production workers to senior management.

I held responsible positions which required me to spend long periods away from my family with the family pressures that brings.

My life experience has given me a particular interest in how we can live a stressful life healthily.
