PRIVACY STATEMENT

 

 

Steven Vardy  is collecting and storing your personal data for the purpose of contacting you if necessary, whilst you are having counselling with her. He may need to contact you to either arrange, change, cancel or confirm an appointment. This personal data includes your name, address, telephone number and email address.

 

It may become necessary to share your data with other professionals, to include your GP, Mental Health Workers or the Police, if I consider that there is significant risk of harm to yourself, or others, or if there are concerns about illegal acts, such as terrorism or money laundering, or a court  summons.  To confirm your identity your date of birth is also recorded.

 

If through sudden serious illness, accident or death I am no longer able to work, your data will be passed to my supervisor who will contact you.

Your personal data is stored in accordance with the data protection act 2018. Once counselling has ended  your personal data is achived and retained for 7 years before being destroyed.
